All On Four Implants Post Op cleaning and care

For the first 2 weeks use the prescription mouth rinse that was given and gently brush with a soft toothbrush.

Long term care plan starting two weeks after surgery:

In addition to brushing the prosthesis, start brushing your tissue around and above the prosthesis with a soft toothbrush and start using a water-pik. We recommend 2 parts water, one part mouthwash in water-pik (Colgate Peroxyl is a mouthrinse we recommend for this). Oral-b makes a floss called Superfloss that can be threaded under the prosthesis. You will see your dentist every 6 months to check and clean the prosthesis and verify the implants are healthy with radiographs.

Remember to maintain a soft diet for the first 4 months after surgery. This is anything that can be easily cut with a fork. This is very important in the healing process of the bone around the implants.
